Timothy Liang | 2nd Prize | Piano | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Timothy Liang is 15 years old and has been playing piano for 7 years. He has studied with Ning and Jie Lu and has competed in multiple competitions including international ones.

Timothy’s awards include first place in the 2017 USU Concerto Competition, first place in the 2017 University of Utah Summer Arts Solo Competition, second place in the 2018 American Fine Arts Concerto Competition, third place in the 2017 ENKOR Piano Competition, second place in the 2018 Great Composers Brahms Competition, and first place in the 2019 American Protégé Concerto Competition. He has also played with the American Fork Symphony and Salt Lake Symphony.

He also is part of the Mundi Project and plays piano in the community. Outside of piano, Timothy is also part of the West High School Debate, Science Olympiad, and Krakens Ultimate Frisbee Teams, as well as the Cottonwood Heights Youth City Council. In addition, he also enjoys photography.
