Charlie has been learning piano from Ms. Lena Zuiff since he was 5 years old. He participated in the North Fulton Music Teachers Association (NFMTA) Fall Festival and received two times a Classical award for the best performance of a Classical Period piece. In 2014, he received an Impressionistic Award for the best performance of Impressionistic period piece. Charlie performed at the Master Class with composer, Dennis Alexander in 2014. Charlie competed in the Georgia Music Teachers Association (GMTA) Pre-College Piano Auditions since 2013. He received an Outstanding Performer rating at the GMTA Audition in 2013, 1st Alternate in 2014 and the 2nd place in 2015. He was awarded a seat of Master Class performer during the GMTA conference in the fall of 2015.
