Freya Pang, age 6 , is a kindergartener at Concord Elementary School in Darien, Illinois. She is currently a student of Sueanne Metz. Freya started piano at 4 1/2 and has won numerous competitions since. At age 5, she performed at Carnegie Hall as a winner of the AFAF Festival. She is 2nd place winner at 2014 Los Angeles International Piano Competition, she is also a gold medalist from the CAMTA Sonata festival, the 3rld place winner of MFHC Piano Competition in Chicago, and an Outstanding prize winner of Geneva piano competition. Freya is also the youngest performer at Chicago Schubertiade. Recently winning 1st place at New Star International Piano Competition and 1st place at American Protégé International Competition, she is invited to perform at Carnegie Hall again in May 2015.
Freya enjoys sharing her music at senior centers, churches and libraries. Her other interests include ballet, ice-skating and swimming.
