Anamarie Diaz been playing the flute for 12 years. She began in her middle school band, and recently graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Music from Virginia Commonwealth University. There she studied with Dr. Tabatha Easley. Through her undergraduate she placed first in the 2014 Richmond Flute Fest, and Second in the 2015 Hampton Roads Flute Faire. During her summers she attends music festivals such as Madeline Island Summer Music Institute, and Aria International Summer Academy. Currently she has substituting in local orchestras as well as studying with Dr. Tabatha Easley.
