The Epsilon Trio consists of Ophir Horovitz, Vikram Iyer, and Sean Lee, members of the California Music Preparatory Academy under Michael Dahlberg. They met each other at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Meadowmount School of Music. Recently they took part in the California Wildfire Relief Concert, where all donations were sent to the American Red Cross.

Ophir, age 17, began piano lessons at the age of six and currently studies with Professor Hans Boepple of Santa Clara University. Ophir received the Young Artists Pianists’ Prize (1st Prize) at the 2016 Mondavi Center National Young Artists Competition. In 2017, he was named a finalist for the MTAC Young Artist Guild auditions and was selected to play in the Cheng-Chow Trio Panel masterclass at the annual MTAC State Convention. In Summer 2017 he made his radio broadcast debut by giving a solo performance on NPR's ""From the Top"" with host Christopher O'Riley. When he is not performing or competing, he likes to listen to music, meet with friends and try new cuisines.

Vikram, age 17, is a senior at Saratoga High School in the South Bay Area. He has been studying the violin under Dr. Ann Kerobyan, since age 5. He has won prizes in numerous competitions such as the US Open Music Competition, American Protege Concerto Competition, and VOCE. Vikram has received the Panel Honors award by the MTAC and Honorable Mention in the Palo Alto Concerto Competition. Vikram is now a member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra and previously was a member of the California Youth Symphony. In addition to music, Vikram has been on the Saratoga Varsity Cross Country Team and was Captain of the Saratoga Junior Varsity Soccer team.

Sean, age 16, started his cello studies at age eight and currently studies with Jonahan Koh. He has twice attended the Meadowmount School of Music. Most recently, Sean was named a 2018 Mondavi National Young Artists Competition semi-finalist. He has won numerous awards from competitions such as the American Protégé International Concerto Competition, US International Music Competition. He debuted as a soloist with El Camino Youth Symphony in 2015 and will be appear in solo performance with Livermore Amador Symphony in February 2018. Sean is currently a member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra. When not making music Sean enjoys doing archery and holds USA Archery National Record for 50m double round.
