Angela, a 12 year old middle schooler from the Chicago area, started learning piano at age five, and she immediately fell in love with music. She currently studies with Mrs. Sueanne Metz, who has broadened her musical landscape and inspired her imagination and creativity. At age 10, Angela made her debut at Carnegie Hall as a winner of the American Protege Piano and Strings Competition. In 2017, she won first place in the Illinois State Music Teachers Association Piano Competition. She has also been prize winners in the Chopin International Piano Competition at Hartford, Connecticut, Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition, Best Prokofiev Performance (GCC), the NWSMTA Rewards Competition, the NSMTA Piano Competition, the CAMTA SSF, the Robert Savler Competition, the Confucius Competition and the Granquist Competition. She loves to improvise in Jazz band at school. Besides music, Angela enjoys reading and biking. With laughs and fun moments, she cheers each day of her life.
