Winner of the 2017 Mid-Missouri Percussive Arts Trophy duet competition, CHannel2 represents the musical collaboration between percussionists Hannah Gallamore and Conner Viets.  The name CHannel2 (Conner & Hannah) comes from the artists’ dedication to the communication, or channeling, of innovative works written for the rapidly evolving idiom of the percussive arts through creative collaboration and engaging performances.  CHannel2 has given performances at schools in the St. Louis and Kansas City metropolitan areas, presented full-length recitals at Truman State University and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and recently gave a performance at the 2018 North Star Music Festival. 

Hannah is currently a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at Truman State University, pursuing a Master of Music in Percussion Performance and a Master of Arts in Education while studying with Dr. Michael Bump.  Conner is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, pursuing a Master of Music degree in Percussion Performance while studying with Dr. Dave Hall.  Between the two, competitive success includes a recent appearance as soloist with the Truman State University Wind Ensemble, selection for participation in a marimba masterclass at the 2018 Percussive Arts Society International Convention, 1st Place in the 2018 Missouri Day of Percussion Collegiate Solo Keyboard Competition, runner-up in the 2018 Mid-Missouri Percussive Arts Trophy Solo Competition,
Second Prize in the 2018 International ENKOR Competition, and runner-up in the 2017 Missouri Day of Percussion Collegiate Solo Keyboard Competition.
