Youngju Noelle Kim | 2nd Prize | Strings | 5th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Youngju Noelle Kim is a senior at Jakarta Intercultural school. She started cello at age seven. She is the principal cellist at Far East Broadcast Youth Orchestra in Jakarta. She was the section leader of the AMIS Asian Middle School Honor Orchestra for four years. She has been accepted into the AMIS High School Honor Band and Orchestra for four years with three of those years accepted as the section leader. She has been selected to represent Jakarta Intercultural School as part of the Interscholastic Association of Southeast Asian Schools (IASAS) Strings Team for four years. From IASAS, she was the recipient of the Director's Choice Award and the Best Performance Award. She was a Junior Honors Recital Competition winner at Interlochen Arts Camp in 2014. Currently, she is the President of the Jakarta Intercultural School Tri-M Honor Music Society and the President of the Strings In Action service club.
