Annabel Yen is 10 years old and is in the 5th grade at The Nueva School in Hillsborough, California. She is a student of John McCarthy and studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College division. She has won 1st place awards in the Elite International Music Competition, Bay Area Music Association International Open Music Competition and Global Outstanding Chinese Youth Competition. She also performed at a winner's recital at Carnegie Hall in NYC at age 8. In addition to playing piano, she enjoys competitive golf, gymnastics, and arts & crafts.
