Bowen Liang is 8 years old and studying piano with his teacher Grace Yang. Bowen is currently attending elementary school in Princeton, New Jersey and started playing piano when he was 6 years old. His favorite composers are Frédéric Chopin and Franz Liszt. He has participated in the New Jersey Music Teacher's Association composer commission competition in 2019. Bowen has also won the Gold Prize at the 2019 Elite International Music Competition for his age group and performed at the Carnegie Weill Hall. Bowen placed first in the 2020 Prima Volta Music Competition. In his free time, Bowen enjoys listening to music, swimming, and reading.
