Emily Lai is a sophomore at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. She has won numerous awards including first place at American Protege where she played at Carnegie Hall for her performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3 and placed at Los Angeles International Liszt Competition. She enjoys volunteering to play piano at numerous sites around Los Angeles with the local chapter of the Music Students' Service League.
