Devon Chang | 3rd Prize | Violin | 8th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Devon Chang, age 15, has just finished the ninth grade at Beckman High school in Irvine, California. He started playing the violin at age 7, and currently studies violin with Mrs. Eunhee Kim. His musical achievements include several first place finishes at the Southwestern Youth Music Festival, the Satori Summer Music Festival, and the MTAC-OC Concerto. He has also won a second place award in The American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music and a second place award in the Great Composers 2020 competition. In addition, he has won an honorable mention in the California State American String Teachers Association-LA. Additionally, he obtained State Honors and was invited to the Convention Recital for Music Teachers’ Association of California under the String Advanced Division. Outside of music, he enjoys playing basketball, swimming, and programming.
