Eunseo Oh | 2nd Prize | Violin | 8th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

 


Violinist Eunseo Oh, 16, is a sophomore at Lynbrook High School. She has been playing the violin since she was eight. She was a first-place winner at Pacific Musical Society’s 2018 Competition, a second-place winner at the Galante Prize Competition, and a grand prizewinner of the 2016 Korean Times Annual Youth Music Competition. She has also won the first prize at the Hankook Ilbo Competition in Korea. She has participated in many performances and concerts including Junior Bach Festivals in 2016, 2017, and 2018, and played with the Seongnam Youth Symphony Orchestra as a soloist. Furthermore, she has been invited to festivals such as NYO-USA, Music@Menlo, and Bowdoin International Music Festival. She is a member of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, and studies with Zhao Wei and previously Ian Swensen at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music's Pre-College Division.
