Joshua Jung, 16, resides in Washington state, USA , a junior in the Bellevue school district gifted program. He has been studying piano with Adam Aleksander since his freshman year.
In a short period of time, he has won numerous awards including 1st place in the Performing Art of Eastside, Seattle Russian Festival and the Seattle international Virtuoso Festival. Also he achieved special recognition from the Seattle Young Artist Festival. He won silver medal from the Pacific international Piano competition, Classical Viennese Festival and the Seattle Bach Festival.
Other than playing the piano, Joshua is a straight A student who excels in Math & Science. He received national invitation for the American Invitational Mathemathics Examination for three consecutive years. He was a finalist in the National Chemistry Olympiad Exam. He would like to apply his computer programming skills in his pursuit of medicine. He also enjoys playing tennis in his high school varsity tennis team.
