Sky Wen | 2nd Prize | Violin | 8th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

 Sky Wen is a violinist in the studio of Elizabeth Faidley in New York.  Sky has won numerous competitions and performed solo internationally, including Lalo Symphonie Espagnole with an orchestra after winning First Prize in an international Music Organization New York Concerto competition, and soloed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Salzburg Cathedral, Saint Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, and in Budapest.  

She has also performed in masterclasses with Augustin Hadelich, Rachel Barton Pine, Stefan Jackiw, and Carolyn Widmann. Sky was awarded The Judges' Distinction Award and 1st prize of American Protege International Competition, won Gold Medals at the American Association for Development of the Gifted and Talented (AADGT), VIVO International Music Competition, Elite International Music Competition, Great Composers International Competition, and East Coast International Competition, as well as a top prize at ENKOR and International Young Artist competitions. 

When Sky is not playing violin, she swims competitively (junior Olympics), and can be found eating up books, writing, and designing her characters.
