Minseo Kim | 2nd Prize | Winds & Percussion | 8th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Minseo Kim is a junior in California High School. She is a student of Ai Goldsmith for 5 years and has performed in masterclasses with Marina Piccinini, Robert Stallman, and Isabelle Chapuis. 

Minseo is a recipient of various prizes and honors, including a 2nd prize from the American Protégé International Concerto Competition (2022), Golden State Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition (2021), 2nd prize from the Silicon Valley Philharmonic Music Competition Woodwinds High School Winds category (2020), 67th Annual Junior Bach Festival Winner, US Open Music Competition 3rd prize (2017), and SJYS Flute Choir Soloist (2016).  Minseo participated in various honor ensembles including Contra Costa County Honor Band (2019) as the Principal flutist and California All State Honor bands and orchestra — 2022 High School Symphony Orchestra as Principal Flute, High School Concert Band (2020), High School Wind Symphony (2019), and Junior High School Symphonic Band (2018) as the Principal flutist.
