Elfie Tong is 5 years old, and currently in 2nd year kindergarten. She started playing the piano when she was 3 years old. She loves playing the piano, and especially loves having her big collection of monkey toys as her supportive audience. When she is not playing the piano, you can find her nose deep in her books or arranging her critters/furniture in her Sylvanian Families collection. When she was 4, she was selected to be the first "Lang Lang Little Pianist" under the Lang Lang International Music Foundation to play in the "Play It Forward Lang Lang and Friends Virtual Concert Series" in April 2021. From July 2021, Elfie started taking part in piano competitions. Among the prizes won include: First Prize and Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize in 2022 Golden Classical Music Awards, Gold Prize and Best Young Artist Award in 6th Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards International Music Competition, First Place in American Protege International Piano & Strings Competition 2022, First Prize and Exceptional Young Talent Special Prize in 2022 International Music Competition "Salzburg" Grand Prize Virtuoso, First Prize in 2022 Music Singapore.
