Siyue Xie, born in April 2001, was enrolled in the Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2016, majoring in cello, under the tutelage of Professor Zheng Chen. In 2020, she matriculated in the conservatory and became a college cello major. Her current teacher is Professor Xinhua Ma.
In 2017, she participated in the New Year Concert of Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra.
Highlights of her competition achievements include Third Prize in IX Roma International Music Competition 2022 organized by Association of Social Promotion “Melos APS”, Italy, Second Prize for the ensemble section of Hummingbird Music Awards China Youth Music Competition 2018, and Third Prize in Haiqu Cup Youth Cello Competition 2014.
