Albert Gang | 2nd Prize | Violin 2017 | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Albert Gang, 15, started playing the violin at age 7. Currently, he studies with Margaret Batjer of the Colburn Music Academy. Albert attended the Meadowmount School of Music in 2015 and 2016, studying with Jan Mark Sloman and Kathryn Lucktenberg. He participated in the full-scholarship chamber music programs of the Music Academy of the West's MERIT Program in 2014 and the Young Musicians Foundation Chamber Music Series in 2016. He won the Palisades Symphony Young Artists Competition. As a soloist, Albert has performed with the Pacific Symphony and the Palisades Symphony. He has played for and been coached by musicians such as Cornelia Heard, Joan Kwuon, Ivan Zenaty, Earl Carlyss, and David Finckel.
