Haoran Li | 2nd Prize | Strings | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

 


Haoran Li, 15, is a cellist who is currently a student with Brady Anderson. He has been playing cello since the age of 8. Music has become a strong passion and an important part of his life. Haoran was the winner of the MTAC VOCE Solo Competition 2019 regional and the United States International Open Music Competition. He also won awards in United States International Music Competition 2020, USOMC 2020 INSTRUMENTAL ENSEMBLE, KAMSA Music Competition 2019 Cello. 

Haoran started his orchestra journey in 2014. Haoran joined Young People's Chamber Orchestra at Berkeley for 1 year with conductor Rem Djemilev. In 2015, he joined the Orchestra Gradus ad Parnassum with conductor Imant Airea (Imant Kotsinsh) for 2 years as principal cello. In 2016 summer, Haoran attended the Advanced Suzuki Institute where he studied with the renowned cello teacher-trainer Beth Goldstein-McKeeThen he attended the California Youth Symphony Associate Orchestra with conductor Leo Eylar for 2 years and currently is a member of the California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra with conductor Leo Eylar. "
