Ash Bu is a Korean-born guitarist-composer raised in Hawaii, USA. Starting on the classical guitar at age seven, she gravitated toward new-age classical and fingerstyle music, bridging the gaps between the olden classical tradition and the experiments of the modern musical era. This, combined with her culturally expansive influences from Turracherhöhe, Austria, to Nashville, Tennessee, has led her to a sound that is both East and West, old and new, refined yet experimental and exploratory in nature.
