David Elyoussoufi was introduced to cello as a part of the Orchestra in the Schools Program when he was nine years old and has been a member of Youth Music Monterey for the past six years.
David was selected to perform at Carmel Sunset Center Theatre for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 Carmel Bach Festival’s Young Musician Showcase concerts, and won Distinguished Performance awards for 2021 and 2022 performances. David also won YMM Honors Concerto Competition and performed a Lalo Cello Concerto in February 2023. He participated in various masterclasses and attended the Kinhaven summer chamber music program.
