Valarie is currently an 8th grader in California. She has been studying harp under Ms. Sonya Yu for four years. She participated in various music competitions and won prizes in Yvonne LaMothe Schwager Competition, United States International Music Competition, International Youth Music Competition and Great Composer Competition. Valarie is the harpist in California Youth Symphony Associate Orchestra and also a member of the Silicon Valley Youth Harp Ensemble. She enjoys performing in retirement communities and festive occasions.
