They are finalists in the 2015 Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition in Pasadena.

He is a frequent winner of prizes and honors, including the State Cello Competition (Tashkent) and the International Cello Competition in Amalfì, among others. He is a D.M.A. student at the University of Kansas.

Pianist Teng Fu began his studies in his native China and studied at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. He moved to New York in 2006, where he completed his pre-college study at the Manhattan School of Music and his B.M. and M.M. degrees at Mannes College. He has won prizes in the All-China Competition and the Gina Bachauer Competition and was invited to give concerts at the Beethoven Music Festival in Bonn, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. He is a student of Dr. Scott McBride Smith.
