Miriam Wagstaff performed the Gyula Dávid Viola Concerto with the Utah Symphony as the All-Star Evening soloist May 2016. She has attended Idyllwild Chamberfest and Meadowmount School of Music, both on full scholarship. Among other awards, Miriam was a top prize winner in the Utah Division Stradivarius Competition, she received a Third Place from the Enkor 2016 International Violin Competition, First Place Utah Baroque Ensemble High School Scholarship Competition and Honorable Mention 2015 National ASTA Solo Competition, Jr. Viola Div. She has soloed with the Utah Valley Symphony, the Lyceum Orchestras, Orchestra of Southern Utah and Southwest Symphony Orchestra. Miriam is also an award winning fiddler.
