Violinist Abigail Nishiwaki is 16 years old and is a student at Scarsdale High School and The Manhattan School of Music in the studio of Elizabeth Faidley. Previously, Abigail studied with Elizabeth Chang and was a member of the New York Youth Symphony for four years where she acted as Principal Second Violinist.
Abigail has also participated in the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Music Program for three years and her current quartet was given the Director’s Award. For the past five summers, she has attended the Greenwood Music Camp. Abigail has placed in several competitions including the American Protege Competition and the Vivo International Music Competition.
