Julia Jones, thirteen, started to take violin lessons with Viktor Basis at age of five at Lucy Moses School At Kaufman Center.
Julia currently attends Hunter Junior High School in NYC.
In 2012 Julia won 2nd Prize at the Cremona International Competition, Junior Group, and
In 2013 - 1st Prize at the Cremona International Competition, Junior Group.
In 2015, Julia won 1st Prize and Special Prize from Natalia Korsakova at the eMuse International Competition in Athens, Greece.
In 2015 she won 1st Prize at the Grand Virtuoso International Competition in Paris, France.
In 2015 - 2nd Prize at the Vivo International Competition, New York, USA
In 2016 - 1st Prize at the American Protege International Concerto Competition
In 2016 she became semifinalist of the 8th International Louis Spohr Competition for Young Violinists in Weimar, Germany.

Julia attended various music festivals like, InterHarmony Music Festival in Germany,
International Music Academy in Cremona, Italy,
Summer String Festival at Merkin Hall, NYC,
International Academy of Music in Castelnuovo di Carfagnana, Italy.
In 2017 Julia will attend Concertato Masterclasses in Anacapri, Italy

She performed at Merkin Hall and Weill Recital Hall in New York.
She was invited to Paris to perform at the National Bastille Opera at the Winners Award Ceremony.

Julia performed at the musical evening at Joshua Bell's Fundraising event.
She performed at the annual Gala for Kaufman Music Center in NYC, and Henry Schneider Scholarship Luncheon and Concert, and many other concerts around NYC.
On May 22, Julia performed Bach Double Concerto with Joshua Bell. Click here to enjoy this performance.

In 2016, Julia gave solo recitals the Christ Church NYC and Ann Goodman Hall at the Kaufman Music Center.

Julia was taking masterclasses with Dmitri Berlinsky, Felix Andrievsky, Vadim Gluzman, Catherine Cho.

In 2017, Julia got accepted to masterclasses with Shlomo Mintz in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.
