The Aruna Quartet formed at Texas Tech University in the Fall of 2015. Since then, Aruna has competed twice at The Fischoff National Chamber music competition and was selected as a semifinalist in 2018. The quartet also was the MTNA State competition winner in 2017 and 2018, and a Coltman Chamber Music Competition Finalist in 2018. The current members in Aruna are William Pyle on soprano, Tony Guzman on alto, Ryan Hill, on tenor, and Andrew Schoen on bari. The Quartet is under the instruction of professor David Dees
