Audrey Ang | 1st Prize | Violin | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Audrey Ang, age 9, was born in New York City in the year of 2009. She began her violin studies at the age of five in Special Music School with the esteemed Mr Viktor Basis. Under Mr. Viktor strict but caring instructions, Audrey had been performed internationally, in NYC, Cremona and Hong Kong.

Audrey won numerous international competitions. In 2019, she was awarded First Prize in the category of Group B (age 9-11) Vivo-Youth International Music Competition, where she performed in Merkin Hall of Kaufman Music Center. She also won the first prize of the Best Handel Performance in the Great Composer Competition.
In 2018, Audrey won Gold Prize of Group A (age 8 and under) Vivo-Youth International Music Competition.
In 2017, she was selected to be First Prize in the category of Beginner Violin, of Hong Kong International Music Competition, where she performed in Tsuen Wan Town Hall. In the same year of 2017, she won Second Prize of the Junior Category in the Cremona International Competition for Strings, allowing her to perform at Museo Del Violino Concert Hall in Cremona Italy.

Apart from Audrey's violin practices and performance, she enjoys playing piano, reading, skiing, dancing, and windsurfing.
