Grace Wang | 3rd Prize | Piano | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Grace Wang, 15, a ninth grader at Ridge High School, studies piano with Professor Ingrid Clarfield. Grace has won both 1st prize and an Audience Award in the Glory Int’l Piano competition, 1st and 2nd prizes for the Best Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin at the Great Composers Competition Series, 1st place in American Protégé Talent competition, 3rd prizes in ENKOR Int’l Music Competition, the NJMTA young musician competition, Future Stars International Piano competitions, and a special award for Best Shchedrin Performance. In addition, she has won 1st place in the Piano Teacher’s Congress of New York Honors Program, 1st place in American Fine Arts Festival, 2nd places in Greater Princeton Steinway Piano Competition, American Protégé International Competition of Romantic music, Camerata Artists International Competition, and the VIVO International Competition. Grace also has received Grand Prix Awards at the Concert Festival Competition and the Music-Fest Rising Talents Festival. She has two Gold Awards from the IMPACT Young Artists Competition, 1st prize with a Perfect Score award from the Crescendo International Competition, and 1st prize with an Outstanding performance award in the Concert Artists International Virtuoso Competition II.

Grace is The Alice Fletcher Whitney Scholarship recipient from Phillips Academy Andover. She enjoys art, digital design, film, and computer science. She has also played the violin and has won the Tri-state Highest Scorer in RCM Examinations twice. Recently Grace won 4th Runner Up for the Miss Teen Dance Title at KAR, an invitation to the Fierce National Dance Team and Multiple 1st, 2nd and 3rd Team Dance Awards. Grace is the Secretary and Webmaster of Rescue Music Foundation, founded by the world's best junior pianist Charlie Liu.
