Abhi Milind Gudipati (15) started learning classical guitar at age 9 when he was in Arizona. He has won award in the Arizona Music Fest, a state-level strings competition. Abhi also has performed in a chamber music concert at the prestigious Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) in Scottsdale, AZ, in recognition of his virtuosity and playing at such a young age. After moving to Texas in 2017, Abhi currently studies classical guitar with Dr. Isaac Bustos, a Texas A&M university professor.
Abhi has won numerous awards in competitions such as the Texas Guitar conference & University of Mary Hardin Baylor Highschool Solo competition, Texas A&M International Guitar Symposium, the Boston Guitar Fest competition in the high school division and UT Dallas international competition youth divisions. Abhi has been recognized as a gifted musician by the Houston Young Artists’ Concert and currently performs with other young artists in several recitals and performances in the Houston area for hospitals and retirements homes. He is an active member of the Houston Classical Guitar Society. He is actively involved in community services, such as playing at nursing homes and helping people in need. He loves playing music to his audiences.
