Garrett Blosen | 2nd Prize | Strings | 5th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Garrett Blosen, age 17, enjoys playing musical instruments especially cello, piano, and various percussion instruments. He has won multiple awards, including the San Francisco Youth Talent Competition, American Fine Arts Festival, Golden Key International Competition, US Open Music Competition, VOCE, Heritage Festival, Enkor and the Junior Bach Festival. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and has been invited to the NY Lincoln center. Garrett currently studies cello with Jonathan Koh. He enjoys sharing his music with others and uses it as a way to relax. He studies chamber music at the California Music Preparatory Academy and participates regularly with their outreach program. He also was a member of the El Camino Youth Symphony. Other than music, he enjoys sailing and robotics, competing in world championships for both activities.
