David Hsieh is a happy 8th grade student at Valley Christian School lives in Cupertino California.
His passion with marimba starts when playing marimba chamber at age 8, since then he falls in love with the instrument.
David studies with Anthony Cirone and Tammy Chen and is blessed to have private and master classes with great marimba artists Gordon Stout, Weichen Lin, Felix Meyers, Theodor Milkov and She-e Wu.
He is the member of Cupertino Symphonic Band, Uchannel chamber music and played in the percussion section with San Jose Youth Symphony for Nutcracker in 2018.
He enjoyed playing for events through out the Bay Area.

David also plays piano and viola and recent is working on a percussion/ marimba with piano duet CD with his best friend pianist Stanford Yu.
David also enjoying fishing, swimming, hiking, movies and cooking with his family and friends.
