Fiona Sun | 2nd Prize | Winds & Percussion | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Fiona Sun is a percussionist of the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra. She previously served as the principal percussionist of Golden State Youth Orchestra, performing in San Francisco Bay Area, Sweden, Finland, and Russia. She is also a top prize winner of the United States International Youth Competition. Three time winner of the Junior Bach Festival, and Grand Prize winner of the National League of Performing Arts Chamber Music Competition, Fiona has performed in a variety of concert halls. In 2019, Fiona performed in Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall. In the same year, she won the Golden State Youth Orchestra solo competition and was selected to perform Emmanuel Sejourne's concerto with GSYO. Fiona studies under Anthony J. Cirone and Tammy Chen.
