Suzuka Wada | 2nd Prize | Violin | 7th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Suzuka wada, age 14, residing in California, USA, is a 9th grader at Hillsdale High School. She was born in New Jersey, USA, and she grew up in Japan until when she was 9. She showed her first musical interest at age of 4. She started with piano first, and on the following year, she switched her interest into playing the violin. Suzuka has been a member of San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra (SFSYO) and the concertmaster of Hillsdale High School Chamber Orchestra since 2019. In the summer of 2019, she participated in the Europe Tour as a member of Golden State Youth Orchestra and joined Music At Tateuchi.

Suzuka had worked with Eri Ishigaki, Boxianzi Vivian Ling, and Yukiko Kurakata and is currently studying under Chen Zhao. In the past, she was invited to perform at the Junior Bach Festival, and made Carnegie Hall debut with a first prize from New York Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition. She was also awarded by the United States International Music Competition (USMIC).
In addition to her ardent love of classical music, she also enjoys writing, singing, watching musicals, and drawing.
