Aryanna Holmes is a full scholarship student at the Gifted Music School Conservatory in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she is currently studying violin with Eugene Watanabe. She will be attending Yale University in the fall as part of the class of 2025 with the intent of completing a double major in Music and Mathematics. As a member of The Gifted Music School Conservatory, she has taken part in many incredible and enriching performances and masterclasses. She has won several concerto competitions and has had the opportunity to perform with The Salt Lake Symphony, The Southwest Symphony, and the Utah Valley Symphony. In 2020 she was named the winner of the Utah Symphony Youth Guild competition in both the Senior and Ensemble categories. Aryanna won the State Music Listening Competition (an academic music trivia competition) three years in a row, moving on to the National Competition all three years, where she placed 2nd Nationally in 2018, and 3rd Nationally in 2020. In 2021 she has been a 1st place winner at the New York Artists International Competition, the American Protégé International Concerto Competition, The Prima Volta Music Competition, The Great Composers Competition in ‘The Music of Eastern Europe’, ‘The Music of Germany and Austria’, ‘The Music of the Centuries:17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th century categories’, a recipient of the Gold Medal for the AADGT International Young Musicians festival, as well as a 2nd place winner of the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition. Aryanna will be performing at Carnegie Hall in November 2021, and has won two more additional Carnegie hall performances that are scheduled for 2022.
