Hannah Kim | 2nd Prize | Violin | 8th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Hannah Kim, age 14, resides in Sydney and is currently a Year 9 student at Ravenswood School for Girls with a full music scholarship. She has been playing violin for 9 years under the tutelage of Mrs. Elisabeth Mitchelmore. Hannah participated at the masterclasses for the Violin Pedagogy Conference with Prof. Ole Bohm (Sydney Conservatorium of Music) and Prof. Evgeny Sorkim (Sydney Conservatorium of Music), playing Wieniawski Polonaise A major.

Hannah completed A.Mus.A when she was 14 and in 2020, obtained First Prize in Rising Talent of the World (Asia and Oceania) and Second Prize for the Artist of the Year 2020 in the Great Composers Competition Series.

Hannah is a member of Sydney Youth Orchestra Philhamonic.

In her spare time, she loves singing and reading all variety of books.  She also serves as a member of the band at church and plays for church concerts and at outreach events.
