Natalia Adame, Mexican-American mezzo-soprano, is a junior at the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music studying under Amy Johnson. Natalia most recently performed the role of Cupid in Orpheus in the Underworld with CCM’s Opera d’arte. Last summer, she performed the role of Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro in Mexico. She has won various awards including First Prize of the Verdi Opera Theatre Vocal Competition and Third Prize in the Armeling Vocal Competition. In 2022, Natalia was named a Semifinalist in the Schmidt Undergraduate Upper Division Competition and the Orpheus Vocal Competition and a Finalist in the Delta Symphony Concerto Competition and the Musician’s Club of Women Vocal Competition (Chicago). This summer, Natalia will be singing in the Chautauqua Institute with the Chautauqua Opera Company.
