Abishek, who currently resides in Georgia, is in the eleventh grade. He began his musical career with the alto saxophone, as he fell in love with the instrument after visiting a saxophone recital. He started in the sixth grade where he started learning the classical saxophone as a hobby. In his later years, he began taking the classical saxophone more seriously, and picked up jazz, which he enjoys playing it time to time. He has also done many recitals playing common classical and jazz repertoire in studios playing for other students and adults. He has also participated in many district bands and all state events, where the top players of the state come together and play. Other international competitions prizes include the American Protégé competition, where he was given the opportunity to play at Carnegie Hall.
