William is a sophomore at Palo Alto High School in California. He started playing music at the age of 6 and has learned various music instruments including cello, drum set and marimba. He first started learning percussion from the UMusic Organization in Fremont with San Jose State professor Galen Lemmon. He is currently practicing marimba under Tammy Chen and snare drum under Bryce Leafman while also learning jazz basics under James Kassis. William enjoys playing video games, biking, and reading in his spare time.
