Amber Lin | 3rd Prize | Piano | 9th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

I am an 8th grader living in Irvine, California and I started learning piano since I was 5 years old. I have been learning piano from Dr. Judy Huang for more than 4 years, who is an experienced teacher, teaching in Orange County School of the Arts. I enjoy reading and writing. Recently, 6 of my writing works submitted to Scholastic Arts & Writing were awarded with one Gold key, multiple Silver keys and Honorable Mentions. When I am not in school, or playing piano, you can find me on the golf course. At my leisure time, I like studying recipes, making my own goodies for my family.

In the most recent years, I have won a multiple of contests. Besides, in 2019 I was honored to play piano twice in Carnegie Hall. Winning the first prize in Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition last year and this year, I was selected to perform in the Winners' Concert at the Elgar Room, Royal Albert Hall (London, UK), the Solitär, Mozarteum (Salzburg) and at the Kleine Zaal, Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) in this coming summer.
