Kyla Ruidera | 3rd Prize | Piano | 9th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


 Kyla Ruidera is a 12-year-old junior high school student from California. She began learning piano at age 4 and studies under the tutelage of Anne Isaakyan Bäder, a graduate of the Leningrad Conservatory in Russia. Kyla recently performed at Carnegie Hall as a multiple-award recipient of the AADGT International Young Musicians Festival (Gold in 2020, Silver in 2021, and Silver in 2022). In 2021, she received the Gold Medal at the Quebec International Music Competition and two Silver Medals at the North American Virtuoso International Music Competition. Kyla has won trophies for various categories at the Southwestern Youth Music Festival (Los Angeles) - 1st Place in 2018; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Places in 2019; 2nd and 3rd Places in 2020. She earned Silver Awards at WPTA Singapore (2020 and 2021) and Bronze Awards at WPTA Finland (2020 and 2021). Kyla recently achieved Level 7 in the Certificate of Merit® (CM) Program of the Music Teachers’ Association of California® (MTAC), from which she has also received State Honors and Convention invitations since 2018. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
