Tony Kim is a 16 year old pianist from Phoenix, Arizona and studies with Dr. Yali Luo. He has won first prize in numerous competitions such as the Steinway Avanti Junior Piano Competition, Arizona Musicfest, OPUS Music Competition, Tone x Galaxie Y Music Competition, Charleston International Music Competition, and Vivo International Music Competition. In 2021, he was winner of the Arizona MTNA State Competition Senior Division for piano. He has performed in venues including Carnegie Hall, Katzin Concert Hall, and multiple times at the MIM. This summer, he will attend the Brevard Music Center piano program. In addition to piano, Tony also plays the cello and has won multiple strings competitions. He is also an instructor at Harmony Project Phoenix, a non-profit music organization.
