Stephen Chen | 2nd Prize | Piano | 10th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

 


Stephen Chen is a fourth grader student from Virginia, U.S.A. He began to learn piano at the age of five and a half. Stephen won many competitions crossing international, state, and district levels. He was placed first in the Vienna Virtuoso International Competition, American Protégé International Competition, American Music Talent Competition, and Elite International Music Competition. He also received different prizes from Charleston International Competition, International Grande Music Competition and Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition. He won first place in the VMTA State Auditions. Additionally, he won first place in consecutive years in RMTA District Auditions, Bach Competition and Sonata Competition. Besides playing piano, Stephen loves reading and math. He received the grand award (99%) from John Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth testing.
