Harmonic Synergy was formed in San Jose. We enjoy playing music and spreading love through performance and hope to bring classical music to our community by performing in local charities.
Flutist, Ashlyn Choi, is a freshman at Valley Christian High School. Ashlyn has won 1st place in the 2023 US IOMC, gold prize in the London Young Musician competition and 1st in the 2023 American Protege International Competition. She has also received awards from KAMSA as well as USOMC in 2022. Moreover, she has won prizes from the 2021-22 IYMC and SFIIMC as a member of chamber ensembles. Ashlyn participated in the 2023 CASMEC All-State Symphonic Band as the assistant principal chair and is currently a member of the GSYO Symphony Orchestra.
Flutist, Claire Kim, has been a member of San Jose Youth Symphony for 3 years and is a two-year member of the wind ensemble at Archbishop Mitty High School. She has received many Superior ratings at CMEA Solo and Ensemble festival, won 1st place as part of a trio in the SF International Innovative Music Competition and the International Music Great Composer Competition, and received 1st and 2nd place in the 2022, 2023 American Protege International Competition.
Pianist, Sungmin Lee, is a junior at Branham high school who has won several major awards through solos and chamber groups. Sungmin has a certification of Advanced Level in Certificate of Merit and has won 1st place in the SF International Innovative Music Competition, the International Music Great Composer Competition as well as 1st and 2nd place in the 2022, 2023 American Protege International Competition. He also performed solos for the Santa Clara Honors 2021 and 2022, hosted by the MTAC.
