Formed only this year, the Moltrés String Quartet has quickly established a deep musical connection. The quartet is composed of violinists Roger Chen and Kaito Stohr, violist Tejas Tirthapura, and Cellist Kenneth Ma. The quartet has already performed publicly at several venues including the Mcafee Center for the Performing Arts and Kohl Mansion. As a part of prestigious Young Chamber Musicians in Burlingame, California, they have received guidance from coaches Jory Fankuchen, Eric Gaenslen, and Susan Bates. They have also participated in a masterclass led by the cellist Christopher Constanza of the St Lawrence String Quartet. The Moltrés String Quartet fiery and powerful young group that is sure to leave a mark in the world of chamber music.
