Ryan Lee, 15, has studied cello with Brady Anderson in Dublin since he was 9. He has performed at Carnegie Hall twice, through winning first place in the AFAF Concerto Competition and the American Protege Romantic Music Competition in which he also received the Judges’ Distinction Award. He has also been awarded first prize in other competitions, including the Korean-American Music Supporters' Association Competition (KAMSA), the Music Teachers Association of California VOCE Alameda County section competition, and the San Francisco International Innovative Music Competition. He has also won awards in the California American String Teachers Association (CalASTA) - San Francisco competition, United States International Music Competition (USIMC), the International Grande Music Competition (IGMC), and is a two-time California All State CODA Orchestra participant. When not playing cello, you’ll find him reading sheet music online, doing math, or coding.
