Christina Moon | 2nd Prize | Winds & Percussion | 10th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

 


Christina Moon is a freshman student enrolled at St. Mary’s Episcopal School in Memphis, TN. She has been studying flute for 4 years. 

Christina has won numerous competitions on the flute. She was the State winner/Representative for the 2022 MTNA (Music Teacher National Association) Junior performances, the winner of the 2022 TMTA (Tennessee Music Teachers Association) Junior Woodwind Solo competition, the winner of the 2021 TMTA Junior Woodwind Concerto competition, and the runner-up for the Elementary Solo Woodwind competition in 2020. Christina was selected and attended as the 3rd chair for The Middle School Honor Performance at Carnegie Hall in 2022. She has also been awarded the top prize in other competitions, including the IGMC (International Grande Music Competition) in 2022, and the Memphis Beethoven Club Young Arts Competition in both 2023 and 2024. She achieved 3rd chair of All State Tennessee High School 9-10 grade in 2024, 1st chair of All West Tennessee High School Blue Band in 2024, and she achieved 2nd, 3rd, and 5th chair of All West Tennessee Middle School Blue Band in 2023, 2022, and 2021. 

Aside from solo performances, Christina is also actively involved in orchestral music at local youth symphonies. Currently, she is a member of Germantown Youth Symphony.
