Jessica Wang | 3rd Prize | Piano | 11th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Jessica Wang, 17, is a Junior at the Magnet Program of Richard Montgomery High School in Maryland, USA. She has been playing piano for over 13 years. She is a student at Levine Music School in Washington DC. Jessica has won first places in numerous national and international piano competitions, such as Asian Music Associate Music (AAMS) International Piano Competition, VIVO International Music Competition, International Music Competition Bonn “Grand Prize Virtuoso”, Great Composers Competition (Best Chopin Performances), Concert Artists International Virtuoso Competition, Young Musicians Inspiring Change Global Piano Competition, Maryland State Music Teacher Association (MSMTA) Piano Solo Competition, Baltimore Music Teacher Association (BMTA) Helena Zurstadt Senior Piano Competition, Washington DC Music Teacher Association (WMTA) Hartman Piano Competition, and Northern Virginia Achievement Award Competition. She is also a top prizewinner at Knabe International Piano Competition, ENKOR International Music Competition, Thomas F. Hulbert International Piano Competition, Washington DC Ruth P. Cogen Concerto Competition, Virginia Robert Spencer Concerto Competition and many more. She has performed in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, the US Department of State, the Hungary Embassy, the Bulgarian Embassy, and the George Mason Performing Arts Center. 

During the past summers, Jessica attended Indiana University Jacobs Summer Piano Academy, Boston University Tanglewood Institute and Brevard Music Center Piano Institute, and was awarded merit scholarships from these prestigious programs. She had masterclasses with renowned professors and world-class pianists. She is a frequent performer in local hospitals and senior living communities.  Besides piano, she is also an activate ballet dancer, performing in John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and many local communities.
