Luna Liu is 8 years old, and resides in Rockville, Maryland. She is a student of Mrs. San Qing Lu Bennaman. She has received the Honorable Mention Award at the 2021 Metropolitan Classical Music Festival, the First Prize at the Maryland State Music Teacher’s Association (MSMTA) 2022 Spring Festival Piano Solo and Second Prizes at MSMTA 2023 and 2024 Spring Festival Piano Solo, the Encouragement Award at the 2022 YMIC international competition and the Honorable Mention Award at the 2022 International Young Artist Piano Competition. She also received the Second Prize in 2022 Piano Star International Competition, and the Third and First Prizes in Miriam Shields Gottlieb Memorial Piano Competition 2023 and 2024. Besides playing piano, Luna enjoys drawing and writing books.
